Probability Games

In math we learned about how flipping a coin, rolling dice or spinning a spinner show probability. To end the unit I asked the students to create games using probability. Wow were they creative! Once finished, the students had a chance to play each others' games.

Shoe Box Book Reports

All the students put a lot of effort into their Shoe box book reports. The shoe box shows their favourite scene from the book. Well done grade 3/4!

Creating a butterfly garden

Step 1: Prepare the garden bed by putting down newspaper and mulch. Then leave for several days.

Step 2: Add another layer of mulch.

Step 3: Dig a hole, add some soil then start planting your plants!

Proud of our wonderful garden. Can't wait for the butterflies to come once the flowers bloom.

We even planted a little maple tree. The kids named her "Maple". 😉
